After eliminating the Undying, Cable is finally able to turn his attention to the visions of Rachel he has been having.

While meditating, he sees Rachel crying while struggling to get out of a cage and the mysterious villain. Rachel's captor speaks to him. His name is Gaunt and he tells him that Rachel is his "guest" and he wants Nathan to join them. Time will wait for no one, even him.

- Jean and Beast appear in this issue, but Nathan does not tell them about the visions he has been having of Rachel.
